Recombinant Human B-cell Maturation Protein (TNFRSF17)

-+
Quantity: 1.0 μg
Gene Symbol: TNFRSF17
Product Details
Gene ID 608
Accession Q02223
Alternative Name Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 17, TNFRSF17, B cell maturation antigen, BCM, BCMA, CD_antigen=CD269
Species Human
Source E. coli
Description BCMA (B cell maturation) is a nonglycosylated integral membrane type I protein that is preferentially expressed in mature B lymphocytes. The N-terminal part of both mouse and human proteins contains a conserved six-cysteine motif. BLyS binds to three receptors of the TNF receptor family (B cell maturation antigen BCMA, TACI, and BAFF-R), all of which are expressed by mature B cells.
Accession Q02223
Functions The ED(50) was not determined.
Formulation Lyophilized from a 0.2 ?m filtered solution in PBS
Solubility A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.
Appearance Lyophilized Powder
Molecular Weight 6
Purity >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Concentration <1.0 EU/μg of recombinant protein as determined by the LAL method.
Shipping Condition Ambient Temperature
Storage Condition The lyophilized protein is stable for at least one year from date of receipt at -70?C. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2? – 8?C for one month, or at -20?C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
